This minister’s desk with 5-drawers is a craft-handed reproduction of the world-renowned French Directoire style, which dates back to the end of the 18th century.<\/p>\n

This range is characterized by straight, sober, timeless lines, sometimes enhanced by decorative motifs such as fluting, diamonds or lozenges, or Louis XVI rings for the drawers.<\/p>\n

This writing table is made of solid French cherry wood. The sourcing of the solid wood comes from sustainably managed and PEFC certified French forests. Brass sabots protect the desk’s feet.<\/p>\n

The 5 drawers fronts are dovetailed for better strength and durability.
\nThe 4 side drawers open with a Louis XVI ring.
\nThe central drawer opens with a brass rhombus-shaped entry and a key with a lock. <\/p>\n

The standard table top is in wood.
\nA leather desk pad can be added as an option, as can wooden side trays.<\/p>\n

The finish proposed here is a smoked cherry color.<\/p>\n
