A smart pair of Gerrit Rietveld Red and Blue DeStijl style lounge chairs. Surprisingly comfortable while being so angular. The original was produced circa 1918. These were produced in the 1980s when there was a total upswing in very early modern design. Solid wood construction and painted to match the original design.<\/p>\n

Good overall condition. Structurally sound and sturdy. Doweled joinery construction. There is some chipping and losses of the paint surface. Some minor crazing and craquelure of the paint surface. Wear is consistent with age and use.<\/p>\n

Approximately 31″ deep x26″ wide x 34.75″ high. The seat height is approximately 13.5″. The arm height is approximately 20″. The seat width is approximately 16″.<\/span><\/p>\n
