Hand carved in France circa 1920, this wonderful “art nouveau” artwork features beautiful hand carved acanthus leaves in each corner. Adding to its allure, this remarkable piece boasts a glass pane, thoughtfully placed to protect a hand woven cotton lace medallion. Two handles, thoughtfully incorporated into the design for easy and graceful transport from kitchen to table. The serving platter has a wonderful rich walnut patina and it is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use.
