Vintage Rattan Anglo-Indian Cobra Peacock Chair

The ultimate boho throne! This is a very rare King Cobra style Peacock chair, circa 1960-1970s. Also referred to as an Anglo-Indian Peacock chair. It’s a large and comfortable statement piece, almost cocoon like when sitting in it. This showstopper has been very well cared for, you can tell it was always kept inside because the vintage rattan frame is strong, sturdy and in beautiful condition with a lovely natural honey color. The black accents are also all intact and a fun detail. Acquired from an estate in La Jolla, CA.

*Please note- This furniture is intended for indoor use. I have photographed it outdoors just to capture the genuine colors in the natural light. If you intend to use in an outdoor space, it needs to have a covered roof of some type or furniture covers so the rattan is not exposed to rain. Sun exposure is ok, the rattan will dry and fade over time (years) but can easily be revived & moisturized with a light coat of boiled linseed oil.
