A handsome vintage 13 bottle metal wine rack with brass details. The feet are fluted tapered brass. The sides are decorated with crossed arrows having brass tips and feathers and a central brass medallion of a horse head within a horseshoe. Each of the upper four corners is topped with a brass horsehead. This rack could sit on the floor or on a countertop. The back has crossbars to prevent bottles from falling out.
The balance of decoration with function is well executed in this piece. When full of wine bottles the decoration shows at its best.
