A truly believable reproduction! This table is fashioned after an 17th century Danish refectory table, the wood is reclaimed from European farmhouses that were built in the 1800s. The tabletop is made from floorplanks that have been naturally distressed by generations of use and are held together by hand-carved “dove tail” joints. The legs are made from the beams reclaimed from the same farm houses. The legs are braced together by a stretcher and join the top with 3/4″ dowels that fit into corresponding holes in the under side of the top. The top is 1.5″ thick and the legs are 3″ thick! Each table is individually made in our Los Angeles workshop using traditional hand tools and joinery! The natural patina is enhanced with a hand rubbed bees wax finish.
These tables can easily be taken apart by removing the wedges at the ends of the stretcher.
Available in a variety of finishes and in sizes up to 10′ long. Please see our Rustic Farm Table, Harvest Table for optional finishes.
