Series 113 was introduced in 1963 as a suburban train in the DC section.
The Salo 113-1000 operated on the Yokosuka Line was transferred to the Keihanshin area due to the capacity, and was changed from Yokosuka color to Shonan color, and was operated in the same area until around 1980.
