We are pleased to offer this mochaware mug with rare oak leaf and wavy line decoration made in England circa 1830.
Thin double bands of midnight brown slip separate wide horizontal bands of taupe and light blue slip.
The taupe band is decorated with a white slip wavy line, and the bright blue band is decorated with a white slip twig design.
The curved line and oak leaf design slip was applied through a quill while the mug was turned on the lathe.
