Primitive hardwood round table from the Central Yucatan area, Mexico, mid-to-late 1900´s. Excellent wear and color on the table top surface. These tables were hand-carved in the tropical rainforest using heavy machetes and perfected by way of sharp grinding stones.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind and bears its own soul with regards to the kind of wood that was used, its wear and age, the color scheme palette, and the vein patterns within the surface of the table.
