Each on three spreading feat with human hand-shaped foot, knobbed stem and candle stand spreading from a floral border, the drip pans in copper.

According to Jan Veenendaal this type of candle stand, with European and Chinese decorative motifs, could be attributed to Chinese craftsmen working in Batavia, the headquarters of the Dutch East India Company in South East Asia.
