Vintage Design
This elegant armchair was designed by Finnish designer Olli Mannermaa for Martela in the early 1950s and later also produced in Germany by Cassina and Eugen Schmidt. The chair consists of a polystyrene shell that sits on a frame made of chrome -plated round steel and is therefore very light and handy. The seat shell was re -waded and provided with thin foam. The new fabric cover is manufactured by the Danish premium manufacturer Kvadrat/Sahco. It is a beautiful bouclé fabric in an elegant old pink that gives these classics a contemporary look.
The frame only has rust and scratches in places. The cover and upholstery are new.
