French Maison Jansen or Directoire style coffee table that in our home, might more accurately be described as a cocktail table. Optionally, you can order the coffee table with Louis XVI style fluted legs, This particular example was constructed from mahogany and executed in an old school ebonized finish, which allows the grain of the mahogany to show and the brown undertones of the natural wood to peek through the layers of black and brown stains. The trim around the coffee tabletop is made from solid brass, as are the sabots (feet). The trim at the top of the coffee table legs has been hand-gilded and is a no-cost option.
