Hannukah Lamp has two backplates, the fore plate is pierced with stylized fleurs de lys with ball finials on its upper portion and side panels.
Mounted at top of the backplate is a pierced Star of David and the word Hanukkah written in Hebrew at center.
Affixed to the lower half of the backplate are eight cast oval-shaped oil containers tapering to rounded points. The removable servant is designed similarly and is affixed to the top fleur de lys at top of the fore backplate.
The pierced backplate is attached to the backplate behind it which also serves as the drip pan for the Hannukah lamp. A hanging ring at top is part of the rounded border for the drip pan and aft backplate
