Grandiose in stature yet refined in form, the 18-arm Canneman 170.3 chandelier brings commanding antique allure to modern settings. At an imposing 100cm high and wide, the two-tiered solid brass fixture emulates an ornate 17th century Dutch original with hand-detailed scrollwork swirling across the frame. Though designed centuries ago, this striking chandelier is wired for contemporary use, bathing spaces in warm, decadent lighting. With its masterful construction and radiant ambience reminiscent of Holland’s Golden Era, the Canneman 170.3 immersively blends old world opulence and new world function.

Original historical moulds from the era are utilised to create the brass components. Additionally, casting is still done the old-fashioned way in a greasy type of sand called Brussels’ soil. After the crown has been varnished, skilled artisans assemble the components. Electric crowns have bent hollow brass tubes for the arms. The arms and curls are soldered together. While the crowns are being put together, the electrical wiring and lighting components are covertly inserted.
