19th century exotic Dutch colonial hexagonal cellarette. Elaborately shaped and stepped on five sides, flat across the back. Ornate pierced brass escutcheon and brass nail heads. Brass handled sides. Thought to be stinkwood, (un-tested), with solid ebony mouldings. Sets on all four twist turned bulbous legs. Polished. South African Dutch colonial. Excellent size and shape as a small console or hall piece.
