18th Century two tier Dutch colonial brass chandelier with ten arms. Turned Central brass stem with an urn shaped top and bottom ball. Two tiers of five arms extend from the center. The arms hook with square pegs onto plates in the stem. Solid brass, with an aged natural patina. The top loop is secured with a pin, and the bottom is threaded onto the central rod. Originally designed for use with candle.

Condition:FairAdditions or alterations made to the original: Aged patina, not electrified. It appears that the chandelier was originally designed for 12 arms, and has been adapted for 10 arms. Some of the arms are slightly bent, and one has a repair on the peg where it attaches to the stem. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses.
