Early production FK-87 Grasshopper Chaise designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm for Alfred Kill. This iconic and sculptural chaise lounge showcases impeccable German craftsmanship executed from beautifully selected materials. Thin profile stainless steel flat bar frame supports a heavy canvas sling and padded leather cushion with headrest. Leather corded armrests give a warmth to the satin steel frame. The chair’s frame and canvas sling are in excellent period condition while the supple leather cushions show varying degrees of patina and fading. Germany, 1960’s

Fully restored vintage wave chaise lounge attributed to Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates. The bent wood seating form has been professionally reupholstered in a tufted navy blue velvet and accented by honey-toned wood legs.

Measurements: 36″ wide, 60″ deep, 28″ high (back), 12” seat height.

Condition: Freshly upholstered in Carnegie “Origin” velvet with new interior foam and structural materials. The wood legs have been refinished and show only light remnant surface imperfections commensurate with age.
