Chaise longue designed by the Belgium designer Linde Hermans in 1999 for Inconcept Belgium.
This one is from the first limited production run of only 12 pieces. Extremely rare and a true museum piece.
It is part of the permanent collection of the Design Museum in Gent (B) and one of the largest private collections of chairs in the world by Thierry Barbier-Mueller (CH).
Linde Hermans is a very talented production designer who won the prestigious Henry van der Velde award in 2008.
The chaise longue is made of 3 parts of stainless steel, which makes it dismantlable for shipping or replacement of the leather, and it has a thick black saddle leather seating.
It is sober and graceful in its shape. The combination of materials and shapes suggests flexibility and movement.
Recently the chaise longue is relaunched in limited edition and ‘made to order’, but the one we offer here is the early original one.
The chaise longue is in very good original condition. Just some normal traces of use.

The couch uses a gas spring mechanism for adjustment. The height of the headrest can be adjusted in any height range. The Campus lounger is a premium piece of furniture, fully original, well-kept and signed. The dimensions given are the dimensions in the unfolded position. An attractive, timeless and comfortable form referring to the Bauhaus style.

Classic 60s Daybed / Recamt. Elegant construction made of dark solid wood. The original spring core mattress was re -padded and freshly moved into. Color is a neutral gray. with additional neck roll in yellow upholstery fabric. Lying surface 187cm/90cm. Very low signs of wear on the wood.

An iconic 3-seater sofa / sleeping bench designed by Gijs van der Sluis, manufactured by Gispen in the Netherlands around 1960.

This beautiful piece has a high quality black lacquered metal base in rectangular finish. The seating depth can easily be extended by raising and pulling out the seat, after which it can be used as a sleeping bed. This is an innovative piece and a true icon of Dutch mid-century design! The additional armrest pillow is a lovely compliment to the design.

Both the sofa and pillow are newly upholstered in high quality grey fabric.

The sofa remains in very good, vintage condition with new upholstery and only minor wear to the frame consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
