Italian modern black plastic chairs Modus SM 203 by Borsani for Tecno, 1980s Chairs mod. Modus SM 203 with seat and backrest composed of a curved black plastic monocoque. The aluminum legs are squared. Round black rubber feet. The chairs are stackable. Produced by Tecno in 1980s and designed by Osvaldo Borsani in 1973. Company logo imprinted on one side and on the back, where there is also a label with the serial number of each chair. An additional logo with the model name is present under the seat. Set of four antique French Directoire style chairs in Maple is a perfect example of the refined, graceful neoclassical style that was founded during the days of Napoleon. This set was hand-crafted from dense maple and given a rich cherry tone stain which works so well with the rose colored fabric which remains very serviceable. The contours of the seatback eliminate sharp corners and provide a comfortable rest for your back, with just a little embellishment underneath that depicts linked chain. The graceful curves of the seatback uprights combines form and function, melding with the contours of the seat and the subtle curves of the legs below. Great for a game table, breakfast room, or just as occasional chairs to disperse throughout the home!
