An early 20th century Dutch cast patinated bronze twin branch wall sconce, topped by a suspension loop above a knopped stem terminating in a filleted ball, issuing a pair of sprigged candle branches, each topped by a turned drip-pan and a reed-decorated candle socket. The sconce would need to be rewired. The sconce measures 22″ inches wide x 9″ inches deep x 18″ inches high.

Maison Jansen, in the taste of.

Pair of Directoire style gilt and silver brass wall sconces with four arm lights. Chandelle shaft topped by an ancient covered vase and finished by a stylized motif of a reversed trimming tassel. The four arm lights formed fluted twisted S, are decorated with stylized acorns next to the shaft mounting. They receive cups and bobeches with a gadroons decor.

Work realized during the 1970s.

Original and functional electric system.
