This lamp has the perfect patina and has such a wonderful heavy weight and a tray that could be used for a pair of spectacles or all kinds of interesting decorative collections–or even for food when one entertains. The lamp has been newly wired in the US. The lamp is appropriate for Colonial, Country, Federal and even modern interiors. The style of lamp is rare and I think, quite special and certainly of an historic, Flemish design.
It is truly a wonderful table lamp.

A Dutch Colonial lamp with a dish in the center of the turned-style, cast bronze body. It has a rich, dark, oil-rubbed bronze patina, a large base, and balanced proportions. The center try can remain bare, but is large enough to be used to place various objects. It can fit many traditional and modern or contemporary interiors. Newly wired. 24″ height x 10.5″ diameter.
