This lovely French commode dates from the Louis Philippe period (1830-1848). The walnut sideboard features a stepped canted corner top over two spacious hand dovetailed drawers.

Below, a pair of cabinet doors open to reveal interior shelves of French oak, and plenty of storage space. The lower cabinet doors can be locked with an original skeleton key. The commode features beautiful burled walnut veneer, and rests on an elegant plinth base with stepped ogee block feet.

This 19th Century French Louis XVI Commode is made of mahogany and oak. The piece is crafted with a marble top and pierced brass gallery. Presented as found, repairs to the marble have been during the lifetime of the piece. The chest of drawers features five drawers on three rows, three small ones on the first row then two larger ones below. The drawer fronts are framed in brass as well as the side panels. It rests on four feet with brass decoration. The drawer pulls and locks are original to the piece. There are five locks in total, all are in working condition. One “clover shaped” key is available.

Italian Rococo style olive wood bombe chest, c. 1920.

Sophisticated petite commode crafted of olive wood with a unique parquetry design. It is a great size allowing it to be extremely versatile. Two deep drawers with original handles provide plenty of storage. It has a beautiful shape and rich color with lots of dimension in the wood grain pattern. Please note the chest has age appropriate imperfections but presents very well. Some veneer loss and cracks are shown in photos.
