Danish Teak Highboard, 1960s

Vintage Design

The highboard was made in the 1960s, Danish production.

The structure is covered with teak veneer. The legs are made of solid wood. The surface has been refreshed. Inside the space has been filled with four practical shelves and three drawers. Two of the shelves are height-adjustable. Highboard has a convenient solution of sliding doors, so that we reduce the need to leave a large free space in front of the furniture, while not restricting access to its interior. An additional advantage of the furniture is a universal bar, in which a decorative mirror has been placed.

Condition: The surface of the furniture after refreshing. Minor scratches and filled veneer losses are visible. Larger traces of use are always presented in the photos. The product is ready to use.

Rustic early 20th century country English sideboard or dresser with a pot rack board on the bottom. Crafted from pine with a natural organic finish. The top of the case has a four drawer frieze with refurbished drawers and hardware. Each drawer has a brass swan neck bail pull. The case has a rare demilune form with a conforming two tier design pot board on bottom. The upper case is supported by two turned legs in front and two halved legs in the rear. The bottom shelf measures 22.5 inches high to the top apron. Versatile piece that could also serve as a console table or buffet. From an estate in Santa Barbara, CA.
