Vintage Design
Set of four stackable chairs, model DSC, with seat and back in solid beech wood painted blue with round aluminium legs. Produced by Anonima Castelli and designed by Giancarlo Piretti in 1965. The trademark ‘DSC Castelli Italy’ is stamped on the frame. Excellent condition, fully restored. Measurements in cm 54x54x76h An iconic modern antique design, these chairs are very famous both for the artist who designed them, Giancarlo Piretti, and the renowned Italian company that produced them, Anonima Castelli, and for their use, often associated with meeting rooms, auditoriums and large classrooms. This is because they can be made into one long row of chairs and because of their materials steel and solid beech wood, which are truly indestructible. Today these chairs are also widely used in homes, they look great in a dining room.
