France, late 19th century
Size: chairs, cm H back 90, seat height 46 x W 44 x D 50; armchairs, H back 94 x seat height 46 x W 56 x D 60
The six chairs and two armchairs, made of fine mahogany wood, were made in France, in Louis XVI style, between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The back has a particular design with a lyric pattern, while the seat, shaped, creates an elegant compositive movement. Small applications in gilt bronze in the shape of a flower.
The graceful and elegant line, as well as the robustness and solidity of the wood structure, make the chairs and armchairs absolutely usable, perfect both around an antique table or a modern one or, equally, side by side with a wall.
Good state of preservation.
