This is an antique gentleman’s Davenport. An English, walnut and bird’s eye maple writing cabinet in Aesthetic Period taste, dating to the Victorian era, circa 1880.

Appealing field panelling decorates the lower fascia and side panels
Carved foliate friezes adorn each panel, with shaped apron brackets adding a flourish
