A large 19th century French wine tasting, or tilt-top table with pine plank top, sturdy solid oak base and walnut banding around the edge. Well-crafted with mortise and tenon joints and pegged construction. Top has a rustic worn surface with a worn patch and was once covered with oil cloth. This table is a good height for use as a dining table and seats four to six. Dining chairs sold separately, please see other listings. Good condition with dark waxed finish. Circa 1860-1870.
