Early 19th century Windsor armchair, Thames Valley, Yew, with Elm seat. A pleasing, simple and unfussy example of English Country furniture in a variety of indigenous timbers, with refined turned elements to the under-carriage and well patinated throughout. In good usable condition with minor movement to the joints as one often finds with such chairs.
