Rustic 19th century country Swedish farmhouse bench or settee hand crafted from pine. Beautifully distressed patina with scrolled arms on each end and interesting back splats. Provenance: Purchased from Ira Yeager’s gallery in Calistoga, CA where it was displayed. The bench was constructed with mortise and tenon joinery and functions as it should with worn feet causing it to slightly lean. Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022) was a lover of all things 18th century French and Swedish. This bench has a lovely profile and was perfect for display in the gallery.
