Authentic antique hand crafted Lobi clay pot. Original large Lobi terra cotta vessels are among the rarest and most prized in African pottery. They were originally used as sacred water vessels both in temples and homes. Lobi people of Burkina Faso would also wash newborn babies from these spiritual water containers.
